What Ayoo sends

Ayoo sends SMS only in connection with a specific live event the user chose to join. Messages may include a link to complete a short profile on the web, a notice when we have suggested an introduction, or follow-ups about that introduction. Message & data rates may apply.

How users opt in

1. The user initiates contact by sending a text message from their own phone to Ayoo's event number (for example using the prefilled message that includes the event name and slug, Ayoo plus the event slug,my slug is ..., or just the slug itself). This act constitutes consent to receive reply SMS about that event.
2. The user opens the link we send and submits the event profile form. The form includes an explicit checkbox confirming agreement to receive SMS from Ayoo for that event, as described on the form.

How to opt out

Users can stop receiving messages by replying with standard carrier keywords where supported (for example STOP), or by contacting the event organizer. Availability of keywords depends on the carrier and message type.
